    1. Any horsepower gain? How much? Truck seems a little better with acceleration at highway speeds but nothing to write home to mom about...
    2. Any MPG gain? How much? No change in gas mileage noticed.
    3. Any trouble with oil on MAF sensor? No issues with MAF sensor

After looking through this thread on Monday I popped open my air box to check on the filter and found a K&N in there.... I ordered an AFE Pro Dry S from streetsideauto an hour later :D

I just threw in my Pro Dry S last night and on my way to work this morning I noticed the motor response definitely had less "pep" than with the K&N drop in :(

Go CANES!! HAHA, JK I am new here and I love the hockey fans!! This is a nice forum. I am stock by the way, but have had good luck with the K&N filters, I have a 2001 Civic that gets (no bull$hitt) 40 mpg. When I tested it on a long trip the total was 42 average for the entire trip!! That might just be our car but I have used them in other veicles with good results, they work better the dirtier they are to a certain point. JOE>

I gained 2 mpg by changing to a K&N Air Filter and installed a Magnaflow muffler in my 06 Tacoma Pre-Runner. In addition it seems to run and accelerate better. And the sound is sweet.

Of course your results may vary. Performance and MPG is directly prop0rtional to the mass of the ass exerted opon the throttle body via the accelerator pedal and grade of the roadway and roadway conditions and the octane of the fuel you are using and the humadity in your area.

K&N, but you need to clean it a lot because they get dirty fast--at least mine does in socal.

My experience is that CAIs are a big waste o' money on stock motors, and I like the piece of mind of the stock airbox and a dry filter. So I spend my money on other things that actually work.

I have seen MANY dyno pulls with a million different air filter/airbox/CAI combos on cars and the difference is nil. I have seen open throttle bodies vs. stock everything and it's like 2-3hp. Not worth a dime in my pickup.
