Which AIR Filter Do You Use?

I only saw 1 other person who posted they had an AEM intake and filter, why are so many opting for K&N, when AEM is about the same price, and the AEM is a dryflow filter, and probably outperforms K&N as well?

I'm loving mine, don't have a HR gain to list, but it definately sounds great, and gives more power when I need to gun it.

I'm pretty sure that the all the second gen tacomas use the same airfilter, so it shouldnt matter which year you choose.

Put in my new AFE pro dry S yesterday. Bought it at www.streetsideauto.com for $56.50 plus free shipping. Used part # 31-10114. Had to fill out information as a 2007 X-runner to get the 4.0 to come up on the site but it's the same filter. That was the best price I had found online and took 2 days to arrive.

1. K&n drop in/secondary filter removed

2. Feels more responsive, not sure about the hp

3. No probs with maf

4. Complete k&n intake soon

i just replaced my original air filter today after 18k miles. it was black lol. just replaced it with a fram.

K&N intake, but why wasn't the URD placed on the list. I got my K&N before the URD CAI was out. Eventually I will go with the URD CAI!
