    There are bail out points. Most of the stupid obstacles here are optional.

    This particular one had a foot/foot and a half tall step on the other side of the tree on a gentle grade. Next time I'm going that way.:eek:

    Middle aged and stupid is probably a better description but thanks anyway!

    You're correct but you also caught your own error. When you're constantly switching between various degrees of uphill, downhill, and flatness, weight in the back would typically end up just being extra weight you have to lug around. In these particular pictures my weight was nearly all shifted to the back. What is 60/40 front/rear on flat ground may have changed to the extreme of 30/70 front/rear on a hill this steep. These numbers are just a guess but you get my point.

    I'm glad to hear you're getting the third replaced without the run around. The shitty part is that you'll just be getting the same old sub par setup that was in there from the get go. It might be worth it to spend the extra money and get a warrantied setup from ECGS that you know will outlast the third going in there.
