    I worked for them for 6 years on the finance side and we dealt a lot with the buyers, I've also bought from the auctions they hold at the stores for dealers of most of those cars they buy...their offer will vary greatly depending on demand...if you have a low demand vehicle or they have 8 of them in inventory you are going to get offered a lower price. It is a business and when I sold my last bit of stock a few years ago their "wholesale" operations was just about as profitable as their "retail" operations.

    Just remember it is a business.

    ive sold many cars there... if its something that isnt modified and fairly clean (no wrecks or body work) it can be well worth your time. anything with altered suspension, paint work, they will rule against it which lowers their bid but cool thing is you get an offer no matter what.

    lol when a dealer buys, they dont pay retail. cant make any money if you buy a car to sell at retail value
