So i'm wanting to install a 3" body lift on my 2006 dcab tacoma. i've installed a 2" on my 96, and did custom work to the front and rear bumpers to raise them. My question is...has anyone on here done a 3" body lift? If so where did you buy it from, and did it come with brackets to raise the front and rear bumpers?? Don't worry this truck is strictly a mall crawler.. just for looks.
    thanks!

Oh and have any of you added the N-Fab nerf bars to it? and how did you raise it to the height it's supposed to be?..

I REALLY wouldnt recomend installing a body lift. They are unsafe and can damage your truck. But if you have to and cant buy a 6" lift. Well then I dont know what brand, but Im sure someone has installed one.;)

All the body lifts I've seen on the second gen's look pretty horrible. You can already see the frame from the side of the truck even before a body lift. It's extremely obvious when a second gen is body lifted...so much so that when I see one, even from far away, I say "body lift!" aloud to myself.

Most people on here (like Skyhigh and myself), are going to tell you that it's not very safe either.
