No badging!!

Just bought an 08 Tacoma Double Cab.... the guy before me apparentley took off the old badging. Im pretty sure i got the TRD off road package cause i got the RR Diff Locker and the power inverter in the back. Just wanted to know if theyre was a way to be sure

 

If you have the locker it's an off road. Might be a way to look it up by VIN too.

 

Just Google the VIN, it should tell you all the specs.

 

Yeah that what i thought from reading similar posts..... also the previous owner decided to put these 18 American Racing Wheels theyre ok but im just not into the chrome look anyone know a decent place where i can get a good deal on some stock wheels and tires.... and i think the off-roads come with 16- inch tires rite?

yeah 16" wheels 265/70/16s I think are the stock size it should say inside your drivers door

 

And people on here are upgrading their wheels and tires and selling the stock ones a lot. Just keep an eye on the B/S/T forum

The exact same thing happened to me. I bought a 2009 with 3,000 miles on it and the previous guy took off EVERYTHING. Even the sticker with the VIN number and the month of manufacture, from the door frame. I had to order that from Toyota.

From the VIN, the dealer can give you a printout of the vehicle history, which will list all the specs on the first page. That's what mine did for me.

 

Yeah you should be able to find someone with stockers that would be willing to trade with you straight up and even make a little money off of the deal.

Where are you located? and what kind, condition are the current tires? I might be interested in a trade.

 

Im in Central Jersey..... the tires on the rims are Toyo Open Country's 265/70/R18 i believe.... theyre in great condition

Factory rear locker it's an Offroad. Is it a Prerunner?

Obvious way to tell is it'll have a heavy duty front tow hook, which only the offroad has.
