On a white truck? Please don't... I don't even like it when people paint it black.

what??? the plastic in the hood scoop is already black i am just thinking of painting it blue if i do not like it, it would not be hard to paint it black again. i am not talking about painting the hood scoop itself just the cheap plastic piece inside.

why because i can and it is not that hard to repaint them black if i do not like it. i just think it adds a little character to the mod. i do not get butthurt if i did not want opinions i would not have ask. no painting the spacer but i wish it was anodized like black or blue.

It's a PITA! you have to undo the bolts under the hood (3 or 4, can't remember). then you have to remove the whole assembly from the hood, which takes some manuvering so you don't scratch your paint with the bolts. then it's pretty self explanatory. i think it's just a snap in deal from there. this is going from memory from about 2 years ago when i last took it apart, so it may not be exact steps, but should be close enough fro you to figure it out
