So I finally pulled the trigger and bought the smoked LED OEM style tail lights on eBay. I figured since I already bought the Smoked LED 3rd Brake light I might as well buy the tail lights to match. So the back end of the trucks asthetics is DONE FINALLY. Now I have to finish the front, cant decide between taking out the orange side reflector and yellowish burnt blinker cover out of my OEM "smoked" 09 style headlights and making them clear basically, or buying the "crystal black/euro style" headlights off ebay.

Heres a pic of the Smoked (left) and OEM (right)

Indeed. As a matter of fact my roommate just came home and was like "did you do something to your tail lights? They look tighter for some reason". Made me feel good about my purchase

They look nice, but why didnt you just try and tint them yourself rather than having to buy another pair?

I am not sure about Tacomas but the rear tail lights on most cars tend to use different glue and if you don't do it right, you may crack them. Then again, not positive on the Tacoma hehe:D. Just a quick question....how do you replace the LEDs on the aftermarket one....does it use the same setup as the toyota one, or do you just buy a new taillight?

After researching and reading,I preferred to just buy new ones. That way if I ever trade up for a newer/better Taco I can throw the OEM ones back on.

Actually they are pretty high quality. I was really impressed and pleased with the purchase. But to each their own......:anonymous:

Its a whole new tail light assembly, and just like the OEM ones, the center brake LED's are built in to the housing and non-removable

    ctrusa

Not selling old one's. I'm one of those people that believes in keeping everything that is removed and upgraded/changed. That way i always have a contingency plan if need be

$153.38 w/S&H from ebay user ctrusa...PRICEY, I know, but worth it to me. I would rather spend that and have 2 sets of tail lights (OEM and Smoked) then to spend $ on Niteshade and chance F-ing up my OEM tails
