If you drive up to Oregon and drop it off with me, I'll be your friend.

I'm single, too, so if you want to drop any tools, offroad gear, guns, extra beer, etc., I don't think there would be any problems

You've been keeping his bike. The real question is... Who has been keeping his balls?

You should just accidentally unload it in a bad neighborhood and then get distracted, leave and forget. Then call him and say "Dude, my bad totally just left your bike for a second and it was gone when I got back... Hope your insurance is still up to date."

ok..i havent done it. mostly out of pure lazyness. i need to build some sawhorses, and get a friend (different friend) to help me pull off my ARE shell. how heavy is a shell anyways?

i did tell my friend to nut up, and tell his wife. this is going to happen. he thinks a sportbike will fit thru a doorway into a crawlspace...errrr..yea. i know it wont fit. i am dropping it off, and let the chips fall. i dont think he told her, but he has my "gentlemanly heads up". he said to bring it over, and help him get it thru that doorway. whatever.

for the record, i dont hide crap from my wife. i cant, she too wily.

Personally if I was in your friends situation, I'd sell the bike (through you of course) and split the money with you for two reasons.
    1) to keep you quiet about it
    2) Less money I would have to explain that randomly appeared and paid for the cruise I'd take my wife on.

i offered to buy it. but my friend is a developing "hoarder". i'm seeing the tendencies, and his dad was one before he died. weird watching it from the start.

it's been years..i told him as soon as he bought his home, and got married..bike is coming to him. it's time.

as far as hauling bikes, done it for years. i have always used "soft straps" on the handlebars. i always put a tiny bit of compression on the front forks..they never move. i see more people moving bikes without soft straps..crazy.
