waiting to hear back from toytec about a discount code. when i do i'm ordering the ultimate lift with OME DAKAR rear leaf pack and Light Racing UCA's.

Then gonna put Cooper Discoverer STT's on (265/70/17) keeping the stock wheels.

    Wish me luck!

are you doing the full 3 inches (just from the leaf pack, i would assume that you are)? If so, consider getting 285s and spidertrax wheel spacers. a 3 inch lift with 265s is going to look a little off, and you'll most likely want to go up a size after seeing it.

this is all just my opinion though :)

jodidly, upon further reflection i think you're right. thanks for making me rethink my purchase in time.

i am now going with toytec ultimate lift (rear AAL) and the LR UCA's.

not sure if i am going to even put on the AAL cause i'm now getting the rear leaf TSB done. (called dealer today and set up an appointment) they said they need to inspect it first then they can order the springs.

are aftermarket UCAs necessary for OME lift? I was reading on the ARB website that the 2" lift negates the need to upgrade brake lines, UCAs etc. Just curious because if/when i do lift my truck it most likely will be OME parts

Eschonle: they aren't required, but the closer you get to 2.5 or 3 inches of lift, UCAs are recommended. They will help with any alignment and/or rubbing issues.

Jaredpa28: my post was made assuming you were lifting your truck 3 inches. If that's not the case, then 265s will be great

i would have to max out the front 5100's in order to level it out with the dakar rear leaf pack. that being said, you would be right saying it wouldn't look good.

i'm getting the TSB done and ordering the ultimate lift (with the rear AAL option). i'll hold off installing the rear AAL from toytec and set the front 5100's to 1.75. then go fron there.

gonna run 265/70/17 coopers. dont want any bigger to avoid rub issues. (wanna keep the mud flaps on)
