285-70-17 tires of course rubbing front mudflaps. Does anyone know if the flaps can be modified so that I don't have to completely remove them. I would love to save that speedway blue paint? Pics would be great.

Not sure that those links does what the op wants. He wants to trim them such that bigger tires wont rub. Those links only shorten the flaps...they dont make them such that they do not rub larger tires.

Try trimming the little ribbed portions off from the tire side of the flap?
