Jester243, the proper usage is "wicked pissah".

OCaron, it's "ladies love country boys".

Why would a glasspack sound good on a V8 when there's only 4 cylinders popping though it (nobody puts a single muffler on a performance V8), but not good on a single exhaust V6 when there's 6 cylinders popping though it?

my friend Kyle used to have a XRUNNER...he actually ran a cherry bomb muffler and it sounded really good...nice growl and very aggressive as he got on the throttle...

as long as your happy that's all that matters...:D

I've got the Dynomax, it's pretty good. Quieter but you can still hear it and sounds deep and not too aggressive and according to some test by other users it adds more power than any other muffler tested, where as the Flowmasters were killing the most power. Though if you're mainly wanting sound it's probably not what you're after.

    i don't have sound clips
    however
before i bought the magnaflow i contacted their customer service
    as follows:

i have a 2010 toyota tacoma prerunner truck
    -double cab
    -short bed
    - 4.0 v6 engine
    - automatic
    - 2wd

i wish to replace the stock muffler only
    - with a magnaflow muffler

i want a good sound with a growl
    - not loud & proud
    - and i DO NOT want to hear a drone in the cab at cruise speed

    here was their answer
perhaps it will help your decision

    Hello,
The muffler I would suggest is a 5x8x18 2.5” for your application. That is the muffler that we use in our cat back systems and should meet your concerns and needs.
    Thank you

that is the muffler i installed
along with the resonator to tone it down to my liking

i think if i had used the 22" instead of the 18"
i would not need the resonator
    but
we learn from experience (and $$$)

    Good luck on your decision
