I special ordered mine in white and ended up with one in silver. Silver looks better but white is a more durable paint color. Either one is good.

As you can tell white holds up even after dirty jobs.

Alright helping haul and plant the wife's gardening projects isn't really that dirty.

Depends on how fast you want to go. Silver=fast, white=slow. It's a scientific fact, something to do with coefficient of friction and reverse polarity.

This is my new truck. All ready I have blacked out emblems, silverstars, shaved the mudflaps, blacked out headlights, Tool box, K&N CAI Number? (I need an AFE dry filter asap),TRD borla cat back, Westin Bull bar and westin tube steps on order (I am getting them line x'd).

Next I am going to get a roof rack with a safari basket I think it would look badass. And whenever I can get ahold of my dads tools I will paint the wheels gun metal gray.

Both are nice. My '89 pre-Tacoma Toyota pickup was white, and I loved it. My '08 is silver and I love it. I probably would have bought white if it had been available at the time, but now that I've had the silver one for a couple of months I'm thinking I prefer this color. Go Silver!!

Wondered when you were going to chime in, we're losing on this thread.

That just makes our white ones more rare though.;)

It seems like the silver is much more popular, which is why I'd go for the white. I went with the silver and I am partially embarrassed when I purposely park next to my truck twin.

I would definitely go with white. I ended up going with Red and now wish I would have went with white, but I am happy with red too. The Taco looks so sporty in white and white really stands out. Silver is ok but the color doesn't stand out and is too plain looking for me.
