The one with the mountian on the decal is the rugged trail.

It costs $200 more than the regular TRD Off Road. It also gives you base model fenders and bumpers (which you are paying more for), and black wheels.

Just googled it now that I know what to look for.

It's strictly an appearance package, huh? Bummer, but it does look pretty slick.

the only good thing you get in the rugged trail package is the skidplate and you can add that to any tacoma

Rugged Trail package has black powder coated wheels, 265 BFG rugged Trail tires, skid plate, locking differential, 110 power converter in bed, Bilstein shocks, and includes the $100 overpriced but nice TRD floor mats with the grooves to hold the mud, snow, or water.
This is the package I have.

well the bed outlet and bilsteins are on any trd....u can get the locker in the regular offroad, but i will say that the black painted wheels are nice. nd put some on his BSP regular offroad and they look better on it than the rugged trail b/c of the color matched flares. its glossy and glossy...not glossy wheels, then raw flares

thanks hodge, flattery will get your rep....

yeah, the rugged trail is EXACTLY the same thing as the off road excpet it has a different decal, the fender flares aren't painted, and it comes with black baja wheels. other than that there is no difference at all. the wheels are badass though, i get compliments on them all the time
