Thanks again, and I'm sure I can! LOL. Shrockworks makes some really nice stuff, but damn they've got a long lead time! As long as I can get the parts cut from the CNC shop quick enough, I can probably build 3-4 of them a week. :bananadance:

Most of my drive to work is in woods, and I work night shift... so my entire drive is watching carefully for deer. Have seen quite a few run in front of me, in my 98 taco I had to slam on my brakes, turn, and managed to mostly miss one...

    Deer suck.

check this out! i was at work tightining up my softtopper the DAY after i recieved it and was almost a done deal when a 22'footer stake bed truck that has 5' tall gates slowly takes off from being parked and the IDIOT (a sheetmetal worker from our FAB shop) forgot to lock/ latch the rear gate an it swung open and jammed my 1/2 opened door resulting in this! a $2100price tag on my companys insurance policy! doesnt look like much damage but there was daylight coming thru the edge of the door! i wanted my shit back lookin stock/ brand new! so i took it to a top-notch body shop n they did the damn thang! brand new door used all my acc. i also got my chrome grill color matched and weathertechs cuz they broke my $35 guards so it worked out!

way to get owned by bambi. My friend hit a deer going 60 in his 1st gen and got a little dent and messed up his headlight alignment. Guess 2nd gen is not as resilient. Sucks though im glad you are ok, I have heard of people dying from hitting deer.

Yeah man, I don't get it either. So they stop in front of you... move out of the way. I always envision where they live to be the places where you can have your brights on and see them from a ways out (and, gee, slow down, or move over).

I grew up in SoCal, my fiance's from Wisconsin. She has "deer-dar," a play on radar, and sees the damned things all over when we drive together in the midwest. I'm totally oblivious to them - and haven't hit one yet!

Were I live in SWFL we gotta watch out for vultures, deer, hogs, and cows. You just can't see them at night especially if they are black.
Vultures eating road kill are really dangerous. Hit a flock of them and you got big damage.

Sucks you hit the deer, but I'm glad you are ok. Living in the woods/country most of my life, with my first two cars in 3 years of driving I hit 4. Some vehicles are just deer magnets.
