Bought it off eBay earlier in the week and it was delivered this afternoon!

I know that I have to drill holes into the box to install using the J-Bolts (also bought 4 extras at the local hardware store for good measure - but they are about 1/2" shorter than the ones supplied by UWS so I am not sure if they will be long enough...??).

My question is, I keep seeing people mentioned that they hook them underneath the bed rails. Can anyone post a picture of exactly where? Are they hooking right into the sliding slots?

I used J-Bolts to install mine, I drilled the holes in the bottom of my tie down rail. I only used one per side, if I am remembering right they were 5/16. The box has been mounted for two months and have not moved.

Thanks ST088, Do you have any pictures of the J-Bolts? Trying to picture the placement of where you are talking about drilling at...

Thanks, but it looks like it'll be a while before I get to install one... Opened the packaging when I got home and it was apparently dropped. The top has a 1/2 gash in it (not too deep but deep enough to be down to what appears to be a chalky white substance), and the corner has about a 2" ding on it. It is the corner on the face of it, so I am going to return the box. The seller is contacting the freight company tomorrow to see what has to be done for a claim due to shipping.

Yeah, its not bad, but I dont want to put a damaged box on my brand new truck.

Trying to figure out how to post the pics now.

As a side note, I just found the box on Amazon for $307 with free S&H! So I've ordered a new one while I wait to return this one... Hope the seller doesn't change his tune about the refund or I will be sitting on an extra box....

Like I said, I know it isn't "terrible" but for $350, I dont want damaged goods.

Think I am being a little petty? You can't tell from the picture of the corner, but it is dented in a good bit as well (probably about an 1/2 to 3/4"), the lid still closes fine, but I had no luck trying to pull the dent out.

They fill the lid of those with foam so I wouldn't want one thats been split exposing it. If you look inside the lid there are 4 chrome stickers covering the holes where they injected it. And when you do get a new one keep in mind that if you drill more than 2 holes in it you void the warranty. Glad I was able to find a vendor locally so I didn't get screwed over on shipping. Did you check their website to see if you could find a vendor close to you?
