Running DTRL after upgrading to HID Headlights/Foglights

08 double cab 4x4 sports package

sports pedal, Toyota Bed mat, AFE stage 2 CAI, Magnaflow, Undercover Lid, Westin nerf bars, USA Spec pa15-Toy, DTRL, 6000k HID headlights, 3000k HID foglights

I'm planning to upgrade my headlights/foglights next weekend and wanted to do the DTRL mod on top of the upgrade, but was told that was not a good idea. Below is the following that I plan to install on my truck.

35w 6000K HID Headlights
35w 3000K HID Fogs

Any comments, insight, experience, and suggestions is greatly appreciated.
