I am trying to add a yakima lowrider max to the factory rack but am having some troubles getting the thing secure. I think the problem may be the c2 claw. It has great hold side-to-side, but rolls a bit when pushed front to back and vice versa. Yakima doesn't offer a fit guide for the factory racks and I don't seem to be guessing very well.

I have the same clamps/ claws. I agree with what you are saying about fore/aft movement, but with a backet or Rocketbox on the top, it isn't going anywhere.

I was planning on using the rack for bikes when the bed is full and to haul a canoe. What do you think?
