idk if re gearing with 33's will do that much to help with gas... my buddy has a 6 inch lift with 35's and he re geared... it helped with low end torque but gas still burns like before if not worse

I think it would depend on what type of driving you do. If you're mostly highway, it would make it worse as you're reving higher for a given speed. But if you're mostly city, it might make it better as you're not lugging the engine as much and it's easier to get up to a higher gear faster. :notsure:

I can definitely agree to this! :D I live in Orlando and all the main roads are 55+ mph so pretty much hwy speeds since no one ever drives the speed limit. but i can definitely see an increase in mileage however with city speed limits!:woot:

Half the responses in this thread are pretty worthless from the Usual Post Whores
Do a search for some of the specifics.

AC Mod - stops compressor when you don't have the AC on.
Underdrive Pullies - less parasitic drive loss.
Chalk test on your tires for correct PSI.
    Synthetics everywhere but rear end.
    AFE drop in Filter
Ride the White line and draft on people
    Keep in under 70 mph
    electric fan

Probably a couple other tricks as well.

    Nice truck BTW

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
Common sense is not so common...or CA's educational system is flawed.

But with a 6" lift and tires that big, your MPG sounds about right.

Hell, I hvae a 2" lift and 31" tires and I get 20mpg with nothing but highway driving and something like 17-18mpg mixed. This is with 93 octane fuel.
