    I think I'll call 'em. The current model is pretty unimpressive, and I'm already having trouble with it sticking and requiring a cycling of the key to open.

    Bought my PL5300 back around the end of June. So far so good and doesn't feel flimsy to me...it's definitely not painted. OP thanks for the heads up! If anything changes on mine, I'll be sure to report back.

    If only Toyota already made these handles with one measly lock...:annoyed:

    well, I just had to break into my own tailgate to get it open. had to dremel out the handle so i could slip a screwdriver in there to actuate the latch mechanism. hopefully the one Pop N Lock is sending me tomorrow looks more impressive. If not, I'm not gonna bother to put it in and just eat the cost.
