Needs about $1500 in parts, but labor is free and you can't beat $7500 with no frame or mechanical damage! Should have her done in 3 days once I get paid again - haha

You should get the Sport hood with hoodscoop and a aftermarket bumper. Don't spend money to go to stock. Especially if you plan on wheeling it....

Awesome deal! I'd go all out and make it into a race truck.

I always liked the first generation Tacoma’s. However, my first Toyota truck was so good I skipped the 3rd generation truck and the 1st generation Tacoma entirely.

I am already looking for a scoop hood, but can't get it from my generic parts dealer. An ARB or Schrockworks bumper would save me buying the bumper bar, skin, and the one bumper flare piece - about $300 at cost. Are there deals on bumpers like ARB out there? Used/scratch'n'dent/group buy/prodeal? Haha, jk, but seriously THULE hooks me up for being a ski instructor...

Race truck would be sweet! However I bought it because I sold my Subaru Forester to get a new Kawasaki Ninja 250, best decision of my life, but need something for rain and snow now. The Ninja and Taco will be my primary means of transportation. Plus a '65 Mustang if I ever finish that but that will only see the same weather as the bike.
