    Hello Tacoma World,

I ordered a new grille assembly and I want to paint it along with my factory rear bumper. I have not found a good site to order the bumper from so I am asking where to order from that is trusted. Also When the grille and bumper arrive I want to color match them. Where should I purchase the paint from? what grit sand paper should I use? what primer should I use? what clear coat if any? And finally I am looking for T-Rex eyelids but couldn't find them anywhere. I am still pretty wet behind the ears so I ask to show mercy and any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Silva

Honestly, if have that many questions about painting you should get it done at a paint shop. But if you want to do it scuff up the plastic with some fine grit paper, 2 coats of primer, 2 to 4 coats of paint and 4 to 6 coats of clear.

Why did you order chrome when you intended to paint it? I bought a black painted grill for $200 from the dealer then sold my chrome one to a member on here for $100. Net cost to me: $100 for a color matched grill. Ill do the same with the bumper.
