Denso VS NGK Plugs

What plugs do you guys run???

Denso OEM K20HR-U11 4.20 each
NGK OE replacement 4.50 each
DENSO IKH20 11.20 each

is the premium plug worth the extra $$$???

Those of you who did you own do you have any helpful hints on replacing them? It looks pretty straight forward but you never know. I don't have a repair manual so i thought i would ask.

thanks
Johnson...

i replaced my plugs at 30k....went with the standard denso coppers. the ngk's that i pulled out were a bit more worn than the denso's. changing them is really easy, pass. side is a breeze....driver side, have to unbolt a couple of brackets, other than that, its pretty easy. be sure to use anti seize on the new plugs too.

yeah, forgot to add that......extensions are definitely needed. also, a 5/8ths sparkplug socket with the rubber holder inside makes it even easier.

I am interested in replacing my plugs too. Any butt-dyno improvement in power and/or mileage? Would you go with the iridiums again? Anyone else with thoughts on other types of plugs?

i'd go iridium again, depending on how they look after the next 30k miles. i havent noticed any real gain. i'll pop one out next time and if it looks good, i'll go order some of the denso's. i only got the champion ones b/c thats all i could find locally...lol

General consensus was Denso over NKG's, so just went w/ Denso K20HR-U11, but 4.20? My dealer had them for 3.80 asked for a better price, so they gave them to me for 2.80 ea. Also got 6pk of tall toyota oil filters for 3 and change each. Bargain.

Use search for writeups on plug replace.
