    Well, I finally got the nerve to do this. It took the long weekend because I have no real experience but I am pleased the way it came out.

    My thoughts......

    1. Just do it. If I can do it, you certainly can.

    2. Bondo and sanding sucks. Period. That is the key to looking good, but I hate it like poison.

    3. The fiberglass part is much easier than I thought. The kit was money and it turned out great.

    Last is wiring the lights. I am having a hell of time finishing that. Everything is run, I just need to find a good place to tap into the cigarette lighter.

    I got it from customcargrills.com. It is the Diamond XXL grill mesh. The size was 12" X 48" and its powder coat black. Its now $55 but I bought it for $45 a few months ago.
