3" EZ lift kit Black from extremetrucktoys.com, Pro Comp 7089 16X8 Flat Black Wheels, Nitto 285/75/16 Tires and two full matching spares, added the UnderCover Black Composite Tonneau Cover and love it...Sabersport black headlights, Grillcraft Black mesh grille, T-Rex 2 Eyelids, will be adding Total Chaos UCAs soon from downsouth motorsports for $651.70....
Since many Toyota truck guys are and have always been true wheeling enthusiast types of people, I came up with the ultimate limited edition Tacoma that Toyota should build to get back to some of that original thrill of old school Yota 4x4 trucks...... Toyota needs to build a limited run of Tacomas with a Straight Axle, manual hubs-manual transfer case, 6" suspension lift -pro comp or whatever. grille, frame rock sliders, 35" tires with some killer wheel options, .. you get the idea. I have seen a few tacomas and tundras listed on ebay motors from toyota dealers with dealer installed lifts, tires, wheels, sliders, ucas etc.... but I would be so happy if Toyota would build some factory Tacomas with everything that we all want already on them and with a full Toyota warranty, that would be so sweet and it would really put them back on the map as far as their cool factor again. and since Ford is building F150 raptors and cool 300 hp six cylinder mustangs finally and doing cool new things, I think it's exactly the right time for Toyota to step things up a few notches to get people's attention in a good way..... anyway, I want to read everyone's feedback in the matter of Toyota building a bad*ss factory modified Tacoma 4x4 with a straight axle-manual hubs etc and maybe all of us Tacoma guys can get Toyota's attention on here..........

    x2

and if you want a raptor or "cool" mustang, go buy one.

But yeah, that would be cool if they did that.

X2, except You forgot the diesel option. The diesel option alone if affordable would shake up the domestic light truck market.

Sounds good but I don't think toyota would want to have anymore liability issues if anyone dies in a rollover or something goes wrong in one of these, A 6" lift might be too much but I read in 4wd toyota owner they were doing a TX edition tacoma with 5100 billies and TRD beadlocks for the Extreme sports kids.

your right...that would be a very ultimate edition...never seen a solid axle truck w/ UCAs.....

do you even know what you would want...or did you just pick up a bunch of buzz words around here...obviously you would not need this edition judging from your statement above....

lol...nice catch...I didn't even bother reading more than the first line of his rant since it's so unintelligible. Didn't even notice that.

no, I dont even like fords, but my point was that they've been doing some interesting things and toyota maybe should put a little excitement in the 4x4 trucks again like what got most yota truck guys into it in the first place with the old school trucks.....

I had a brain fart with the ucas on the straight axle thing ther, that's what i have on my 05 with a lift but i just wasnt thinking that part through, but you get what my point was about toyota trying to put some excitement back into their 4x4 trucks.... and by the way, dont appreciate being insulted by you, not mature at all... I've owned every gen yota 4x4 79-83 all the way up... i merely mis-spoke so it would be great if you'd treat people nicely on here....

I saw a ridgeline with a camper shell and a bull bar on it yesterday, pretty strange looking.

pretty rude.... i mis-spoke since i currently have an 05 with ucas and i was having a brain fart.... plus i saw a 5.7L tundra 4x4 at a toyota dealer on ebay motors with a 6" pro comp lift, and a whole sh*tload of aftermarket add ons and it was around $40K. you get my point though, toyota should shake things up with a limited run of really unique tacomas to bring some excitement back.....

they are very good but i think they will need to take it up a few notches to keep up with what's going on with some other companies and maybe to do some damage control to their image....but you're right , they have always been excellent trucks and i've owned all gens from my first one that was an 83 4x4 22R
