    looking good man!

one of my buddies insists on painting all his skids something other than black. he "claims" it so he can see where it has hit easier, everytime he says that i tell him if he has good skids theres no need to worry about what or where it hits... :D

    Thanks for all the comments!

I thought red would be different and it turned out pretty good. In the future I think I would use a roller and Rustoleum in a can. I saw a post from someone who did this for a bumper and it turned out really good.

@Kevin: I cant wait to try this thing out!

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
ok so I just sprayed the last coat of paint on my skid (note to self, pay for further paint jobs that could be visible) Went to remove old skid (trd sport tin foil) and I do not have any bolts back by the oil pan drain plug. Does anyone know what size these bolts are? I can hang the skid by the front 2 bolts but somehow I think that would end up bad. Any help or a part # from toyota would be great.

Yes everything should be there. You have to remove the 2 frame/skid braces as well. That leaves you with 7 large bolts and 8 smaller. I think you are noticing the same thing I did. It made sense once I had it lined up. Also I am glad I had my 1/2" ratchet to break those bolts loose.

Got it done today, yep you all were right. Just had to take the old skid off and I had all the bolts I needed and then some.
