I just installed this on my truck today. To mount it to the track, I bought a piece of aluminum that was 1/8" thick, 1" wide and it came 3 feet long. I cut two 1" piece off then drilled a hole in the center with a 17/64 bit. So I had two 1" x 1" piece with a 1/4" hole in the center; got two 1/4" bolt that was 1 1/4" long (will be a lot easier to put the nut on if you get a longer bolt) and slid it into the track with the 1x1 piece of aluminum and tighten everything up.

One thing I hate about the Delta mount is that, its hard to pull the lever open because the locking arm gets in the way.

Nice, just sold my 04 CR250 to help feed my mtb addiction. F##k'n bicycles are pricier than motos, go figure.

Just ordered my Rocky Mounts Clutch SD. Glad I found this thread. I had been looking for a better way to protect the bikes when I wanted to have dinner or run into the store after riding.

Nothing fancy, just use a hitch mounted bike rack from costco

Use a tailgate pad, easiest and fastest. If you want to lock it, just throw a cable around a frame spar and through one of the tie down loops on the bottom of the truck bed...

Not much on the 07 yet. 18 is gone, but was a greata truck. TRD Pro grill, Gator FX3, Homelink mirror, Black out badges & exhaust tip, Remote start. Future TRD exhaust, skid plate.

I mounted Toyota cross bars with aftermarket bike rails. Works good and leaves to truck bed open for drywall. Not that I haul drywall, but I could!

Toss it in the bed unless it's full, then toss it on top of the shell unless my tent's up there, then use hitch rack as last resort.

Do the rocky mounts clutch sd fit/line up with the notches on the inside of the bed rail? Or is everyone just putting them wherever? I am just wondering because I have some old Yakima skewers and the don't line up.

I put mine far enough apart where the bars of 2 bikes don't fight over same space if they happen to be similar in bar height and stem length, which several of mine are. Otherwise, put'em where you want.

I got a cheap set and used bolts and washers to put on the rail. They don't lock, but they work great.

Are the washers in the notches on the inside of the bed rail or are they just anywhere?

I ride both road and MTB, so I got a Saris hitch rack that will accommodate both wheel types. Works out well and leaves the bed open for other items. Only bad thing is that I can't open the tailgate with the hitch-rack on the truck, and I have a camper top, so it can be difficult to get things in and out, but luckily I have windoors on the sides that allow access.

I just put em where I wanted, not lined up with the notches. I got them tightened down pretty good. They have been on for almost 2 years and never moved, and I use them as tie downs every once in a while too.
