I have a nice dent in the top of the cab in the back by the roof brake light.Just above the window on the edge of the ceiling.
I want to how do I get around airbags?
Is there any tricks I should know about before attempting this?
    thanks.

I pulled the back half of mine down out of curiosity and it wasn't too hard. Just twist the rear hooks 90 degrees and they pull out. (broke the clips on one of mine so be careful) Unbolt the two rear handles. After that, if I remember correctly, you can lift the corners from the "C" pillars and bend the back half down.

As for the airbags, don't touch them anymore than you need to and you'll be fine.

Edit: If you have a double cab make sure you fold the rear seats down.

What's the dent look like? I had one too on my roof and thought about removing the liner. I ended up buying this large sucction cup dent puller. It popped out without much force.

I got a decent sized dent from me waxing the roof and I just used a suction cup from a gps that goes on the window and it pulled it out no problem.
