Lift is great. I have about 36k miles on mine and zero problems. I do have the beefed taco carrier bearing drop and custom Alcan rear leafs. I would recommend the leafs and ditching the block. I have 17's and they work fine with 4.5 backspacing.

Really considering this kit, what was the final verdict on 16 inch rims with 4.5 back spacing?

well been having some problems with driveline vibrations the last couple days and today i was told i have axle wrap... alcan leafs does not prevent this so dont waste money on them if this is your only reason for buying them...

I can't find the thread but there was a second thread talking about the RCD kit and the lack of performance shots.

This is one of my truck this last weekend.

I have vibration also. went to a one piece drive shaft vib still there.. tried all different kinds of shims nothing helps i tried all different kinds of spacers for the carrier bearing also and still there. I'm going to go back to a 2 piece driveshaft eventually with a new carrier bearing and just hope to god that was my issue to begin with.. The OEM carrier bearing with 75k miles on it. It was worn to begin with and then had a new angle on it hence the vibration

you know im not sure what it is now because it seems to have disappeared (the vibrations) seem like it may have been my diff fluid change.
im still going to get a traction bar down the road and ill update if there are any changes in the ride. im pleased with the RCD kit tho, really like it alot.
lot of guys on here bash drop bracket lifts and since ive already had coilovers i can honestly say lift wise DB is the way to go, if you plan on hauling through the dessert at 80 mph just expect to throw money at either one, but i learned my lesson and will never lift a vehicle on just coils ever again just my .02 we all have different expierences so im not degrading anyone

I would have to agree with you as well, I had coil overs on my 2005 and it performed well but the ride quality and stress on the cv axles was not worth it IMO. The RCD lift is top notch for what I use it for and the ride is similar to factory. To each their own, just my .2

Anyone know if it would be possible to use my current lift parts in conjunction with the RCD lift? I want larger tires, don't want LT but I spent an insane amount on my current lift and don't want to just get rid of it. Thanks guys!

The RDC is a full kit and it will come with every thing. New shocks and such,

You can use UCA's and a rear leaf pack. However the RCD kit comes with a 4 inch block for the rear, if you have a leaf pack on now you might not need a block, or you will need need to adjust the block size.

Do all of you guys with the RCD lift have axel wrap? By chance do you have any pics with 32" tires with the lift? Seems most of you changed tires the same time as the lift so I'm thinking not.

Did you have wrap with the block?
