how is the towing performance with this lift?

anybody running leaf packs or AALs?

I love this lift and might pick one up if I have confidence in towing and if it can handle a heavy load of material in the bed.

I am SO wanting this lift... was just talking to Chris at Bytor Truck and got a price for this kit with Fox 2.5 adjustable coilovers instead of the Bilsteins.

Question for you guys with this lift and 33s - how many of you can still get the truck in your garage? I think it would be close to not fitting for me, my opening is right about 82".

    Thanks!

EDIT: my truck also has the shark fin antenna which may make or break fitting in the garage for me.

I've had the kit for about 7 months now...no problems at all. I definitely recommend it.

I have 295/70/17's on mine and I measure in at about 80.5" across the stock roof rack.

Excellent. I have 285/70/17s to put on and when they wear out I would like to go up a little. Good to know it should still fit fine. Thx.

I would recommend getting the lift kit with no shocks and running Icon or Kings before fox.

Nice looking lift. I'll bet though it doesn't ride as nice as a Icon or king set up!

I've read quite a bit on Fox vs. Kings vs. Icon and it seems to come down to personal preference. The general consensus is any of those 3 will be a huge improvement over the Billies. The Fox shocks seem to be easy to find with the kit, not so much with the Icons and Kings.

Question for you guys that have the RCD kit, it does come with a skid plate, correct? Anyone willing to post up a pic of the skid plate and provide some feedback regarding it?

    Thanks all!

I had mine installed a couple years ago and it did NOT come with a skid plate....that would be awesome if they are offering that now. I just used the factory skid.

Found a pic and the description says "heavy duty differential skid plate" .... in looking at the picture, it isn't what I had hoped it would be...

Got my truck back today. she looks beautiful and drives like a dream. Seems higher than my last one though. My antenna even hits the top of my garage which my last one didn't. Not sure what the difference would be. I will take some pics and post tomorrow. All I have to do now is order the Rigid Industries light bars and grille and she will be complete.

Nice! Looking forward to seeing pics. Odd it's a little higher though. How were your alignment numbers?

How do you like your tires? My 285/70R17 Cooper STTs are gettin' down there and have been considering 33x12.50R17 MTZs and 285/70R17 GoodYear MT/Rs.
