    hey guys i have a 2010 taco without hood scoop on it. having a hard time finding an original hood with scoop on it. I drove by this store that sells aftermarket auto body parts and they have it their for $150 with the hood scoop. anyone go aftermarket hood on their taco? ive bought a few other body parts for my murano when i had it and fitment was right on. i noticed it didnt have the grill insert in it anyone know where i can get one? dont like the billet style. and has anyone had trouble with aftermarket hoods on their taco? thanks for looking.

    I think I've seen on here that you can get a stock hood with the scoop for around $175. You may want to check with a dealer in your area.

    If I remember correctly the Certifit hood is just the sheet metal, not the support frame. In order to do it correctly you have to order an OEM sub frame. (Or maybe cut yours off?????) There was a really good thread that was made 2 months ago.

    You don't need no Support Frame I bought one from certifit it's getting painted.
    I checked the one at the dealer it's the same thing.
    You just have to buy the hood scoop plastic internals at the dealer.
    Dealer is like 600.00 certifit was 100.00 go to certifit.com

    I went to a body shop and got a price on getting one through them and they wanted to repaint everywhere the hood met up with the older paint. Was gonna run me around $1000. I was like thank you but NO thank you!
