Honestly that sounds like vacuum leak somewhere most likely after the MAF so things to check/re-seat are
No2, vacuum hose connected right in front of the throttle body (look at the state of the hose, check for cracks on the hose and check for cracked plastic that this hose connects to)
Throttle body connection to MAF ( I would suggest removing throttle body again and checking if it was seated correctly, check plastic for cracks.
Throttle body gasket. Again remove and get new gasket, check old one and plastic for cracks.)
    Hope that helps
I will post pic when I get home

I never replaced the gasket for the MAF or the throttle body so I will check those. I double triple checked the hoses and they all seemed fine, maybe the oem box has a crack in it and I didnt see it. I'm going to replace all the hoses, and all the gaskets and get a CAI and hopefully that will fix it.

The leak would have to be after the MAF so anything you disconnected needs to be checked, plus all the plastic for cracks. Sometimes a hair long crack will cause vacuum leak. If you can afford it then yes change gaskets as they supposed to be change everytime you take things a part.
I dont think it is anything big its just air is being sucked from outside. There is easy way to check for a leak. If you spray little starter fluid around connections and listen for change in RPM's. If there is vacuum leak starter fluid will get inside and add to fuel/air mixture... but last thing you want is your car on fire if you do something wrong, so I would check things visually first :D

Thanks man this really helps. I hate it when you're trying to make your truck better but you actually end up screwing it up. Anyways I just bought an AFE CAI and just ordered the gaskets from toyota. I'll keep you guys posted. :D

Ha ha vacum leaks are the worst thing ever, I had crappy startup on my LC it took me 2 months to find a vacum hose that was disconnected
Plus toyota putting plastic connectors is not helping. That thing cracks like a MOFO

My bad, should have read your post more closely. Still recommend checking voltage, plugs, and vacuum hoses.

    750 Rpm in neutral
    500 in gear
I know it's normal but the truck is still running funny. I think it may be the ABS brakes pumping.

Is the MAF covered under toyotas 96month 80k warranty because it is part of the emission system? I know my o2 sensor was covered.
