5100's and DSM-and a question on front settings

So my age old question. I have done the TSB for teh rear springs and I just finished the rear shocks. Going to do the fronts on Fri at my friends shop (yea lift)

So, .85 or 1.75. It's a pre runner and I don't want suspension issues. Just using it for light trail running and the highway.

Anyone that went .85 having regrets. That is my gut as I'm running the stock size tires (Geolander A/T's on Ironman Rims).

.85 will maintain that factory rake. A lot of people that tow or have heavy loads do the .85 because they don't want the truck nose high pointing the headlights up.

I am going to do the 1.75. I don't tow but I still have loads back there. After the rear TSB and 1.75 a lot of people say that the rear is about .5" higher so it will look level.

 

If you can spare an extra hour working on them, then set them to .85 and see how it looks to you. If you don't like it, then take that extra hour and change them to 1.75 (should take you less with two people since it takes me 1 hour from start to finish to change them by myself using all hand tools and a jack...I changed them 3 times because of the front diff bearing failure so I've got the process down pretty well).

 

After reading everyones postings, it looks like .85 for me
