How we go from beating off while driving, to grilles? Stay on topic! :p

I was making the point that with an auto, the likelyhood of facing a $600 - $1000 repair tab during it's lifetime is unlikely, whereas a manual has a clutch, which is a wear item. You will not be replacing any wear items on an auto..... Also on mauals, synchros, release bearing, and pilot bearings also tend to wear, degrading shift performance. But, this merely offsets the higher purchase price.

That is a more correct statement. True the manual tranny has more wearable parts that will degrade faster. But personally, its not enough to convince me to get an auto. Just a personal choice really.

So they really haven't changed anything except killing off the "good' transmissions, right? Tiz a damn shame.

    Hi all,
The press release is not clear to me regarding exactly which manual transmission models have been deleted. Does anybody know if there will be a manual transmission 2.7l 4x4 Access Cab in 2011?
    Thanks, Wolf

I'm banned from looking at the link for the grille so I don't know if it's a real photo or just a drawn schematic. Can someone post a actual photo of one?

The line art drawing is the only thing out there as of yet. No real world pics to be had.
