    Hello all,
I have a 2010 TRD OR access cab that has the single disc AM/FM 6 speaker stereo with the volume controls on the left side of the steering wheel. Does the 6 disc in dash stereo have controls on the right side of the steering wheel or is that for the JBL system. Looking at changing mine to a 6 disc but wanted to know the differences. lmk:)
    Thanks, Fred.

i can't tell you about the jbl system but the 6 disc also has the controls on the left side of the steering wheel.

Thanks tmbrwlf. It looks like I can just swap out the normal 6 disc head with mine and all the controls will work the same. I thought I remembered seeing a truck with audio controls on the right side of the steering wheel when I bought mine but can't remember.

    Thanks redezman,
Now it really makes me wonder what the buttons on the right side of the wheel were for. Might have to go by the dealer and look at one again. Anyway, I guess that either the jbl or the standad 6 disc would just plug and play in place of the single disc head unit. What do you guys think.

I think the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel are for the bluetooth cell phone operation.

You are correct. Radio controls on the left and Bluetooth buttons on the right of the steering wheel.
