Looking to get a roof rack that mounts to the factory unit. So far the 2011 is not listed in the searches for this rack so before I call Surco to get the right P/Ns what does the group think of these racks?
    Thanks.

I looked into getting one of those, I had it down between one of these or the load warrior. I decided on the load warrior mostly because the sides are taller and I can get the option to make the length longer.

But they seem like a nice roof rack

I had a surco on my '94 Explorer for years. Beat the crap out of it too. It's a pretty good rack. The construction is a bit light weight, but I packed hundreds of pounds up there (during a cross country move) and never had problems.

I called Surco and talked to them on the needed P/N's/mounting method for the 2011. They feel that the factory roof rack is not strong enough so use their mount kits after removing the factory rack. When I asked what size they gave me two sizes and told me to check which one fit or overhang I could live with (both would go onto their mount/rail system). I want to hang some lights plus a ham radio antenna (with motor to fold down, wishful thinking is to park in garage). Now is simply $$ and timing.
