    I thought they were sealed on these trucks. Could be wrong though. Never touched them on my '99. Had 125k on it when the factory bought it back.

    Many vehicles in production now, have what they call a hub and bearing assembly. When the unit wears out you unbolt it and bolt a new one on. It is actually a slick set up, but very expensive.
