Ultragauge?

I just got an ultragauge last week along with some 285"s and it seems to be giving me very high mpg readings. City driving its about 16 but on the highway I can get the average mpg up in the 22 range. I drive redicuously slow all the time, I have passengers complain to me about my driving including my grandma who tells me to speed up. Is it possible to get 22+ mpg with 285's or is my ultragauge being a peice of crap? I have the distance perfectly calibrated to my 285's.

 

I know but I averaged 22 after half a tank worth.

 

Have you calibrated the distance and fuel mpg? there are instructions in the users guide. Mine was almost exact though without calibration.

 

Nope I didnt think that affected the mpg reading, thats probley my problem. To do that I fill up, then go to partial fill up and match the number on the pump right?

Mine just arrived today. Their are quite a few fuel settings if you search through the menu items....I also got 6 engine light codes as well. Mostly doing with the o2 sensors and maf. I am going to clean the maf first and then see what happens.
