Well, I am finally gona drop a good amount of money on my truck. My 06 has the Fabtech Basic DB Kit with the huge spacer up front. I am eventually gona get the Fabtech adjustable coilovers AND new gears, but i will have the money for ONE of them soon and i am just wonderin if one should be higher priority than the other. If it were one of you guys, what would you do? Either way I'm droppin about $1300, but I think it will be money well spent. Thanks!!

I was thinking gears too. I will eventually get the coilovers any way. Does Icon make coilovers to fit the Fabtech kit out of curiousity?

gears allow the truck to move. In all seriousness though how do you have 35's and not had whoever sold you the tires and lift or whatnot ask you to regear. If I worked at a shot I would upsell the shit out of your setup. Gears are a must. They will bring back all your power and performance.

I appreciate the opinions. Ive talked to Chase at ECGS and I'm thinking i will probably go with the 4.88s. You guys that got your gears installed by a mechanic, about how much was the labor?

Was that to me or arturo? I know the importance of regearing (thanks to TW) but I just bought the truck in November with the lift already on it. I wanted a six inch lift so i figured it would be cheaper to buy this truck and then upgrade to coilovers and gears instead of from stock. TW has helped me out a crap load with this whole lifted truck thing.:D

Thank you. I like the pro Comp tires alot. i would probaly do alot better once i regeared with them. I have about 30k on them right now they probaly have good 10-15k left on them. The next tire i was looking at are Kumho venture lk70 they are price at like 220 a tire for 315/70/17 which is not bad. Once i get them i going get them siping so i have more traction :).
