Anyone gotten their old 3pack leaf springs back to them after doing the TSB?

Nope- I don't know of much warranty work where they will give the old parts back. Corporate usually wants them to "inspect"

My guess is that they clean them up, repaint them, and put them on a new tacoma and send them to the dealership. Not everyone puts enough weight in their truck to have a problem.

Got to keep the parts to show its done. Don't know if its the law or the companies. We always had "warranty rooms" in places I worked. Had to tag each one, bring it to the warranty guy. They get paid to do that stuff.. that spring is kind of the receipt.

Of course, if we had a part we removed and replaced off warranty and customer didn't want it.. We'd charge it to a different vehicle and tag it. Double your money.
