    I saw the Options Remorse thread and thought we needed one for regrettable mods.

    I'll start...
    .2" coil-overs with weak springs (should have went straight for 2.5")
    .All-Pro UCAs

    My issues came from a lack of knowledge concerning what I was getting into. I knew rock crawling but some of that hardware just isn't made to take high-speed abuse. I could have saved a few bucks on my build if I went straight for the hardware I currently have, but then I wouldn't have spare parts. It's a trade-off.

    Anybody else?

    i'd prob change my rear bumper...the style is "OK" but not great...kind of wish i couldve kept my plate on the bumper instead of the tailgate

    Tundra wheels, Access roll-up tonneau, D-rings in front of bed floor, tinted glass in doors to match privacy glass, synthetic oil, Husky floor liners, fog lights, constant power mod for 12v plugs, heated mirrors, brake controller, billet grill, radio aux input mod.
    I regret installing the Timbrens in the rear suspension. Ruined my "gentleman's ride." I will be going back to the stock bump stops.

    This is no way to beef up the rear. Worked OK for hauling a tandem axle travel trailer and for hauling water in the back of the pickup, but driving the truck empty, it feels like it is bottoming out all the time.

    My wife was pregnant at the time and had 1 back surgery prior when I got my step bars (just after lifting the truck 3".... heh)


    I don't regret any my mods. Most of them are functional and added for a reason. However, I do wish I'd been able to afford a better lift kit. The Toytec spacer/AAL is fine for street and highway use, but harsh off road. If I'd had the money at the time to get OME 886's, shocks, and Dakar leafs I would have. I didn't, so the $240-ish for the Toytec was good enough for now.
