2010 electrical gremlin??

I have a ARB bumper with just the regular light kit not the fog lights. I tapped into my harness as described and soldered them together and put electrical tape on the wires and back into the wiring harness. My problem is I have the right and left side running lights and the marker lights in the ARB turn on and off at random. I could be sitting at a light and looking at the reflection in the car in front of me and one side of my lights would turn off. I can get them to come back on by turning my lights on and off and it will restore the lights? Anyone have any suggestions? I did go back to the harness and make sure that the connections were solid and there was not any sigh of bare wires. THanks

 

I would assume there is a short somewhere, either in the ground, switch, or power. Everyone here is fast to reply with lots of experience, I'm sure they can help ya nail the issue down.
