Removing Wear Marks From Fender Flaes

Hey guys; Just put on some new bushwackers for my truck. There are some wierd lines where the old fender flares sat; they look like surface scratches, but they aren't scratches. What should I do to buff these out? Turtle wax or something?

 

Random orbital buffer and a few types of polishing compound. The best bet is to take it to a detail shop who has the equipment and knowledge if you don't.

I have used wd-40 several times to get black marks off my car where a tire rubbed on the paint and paint from something I brushed up against. My flap marks appeared to be thru the paint so no luck on that with the Tacoma.........
