I had an idea for a set of "courtesy lights" I notice when I press the unlock button the running lights (amber) turn on off twice.. Well I want to try and figure a way to wire in some lights that would turn on when the doors are unlocked that would illuminate the nerf bars.

    Any ideas?? Thanks in advance

LEER Shell with dome lights operated with 3 way switches, aux backup lights with relay and 3 position switch, modified wiring to compass/temp display and clock to include switch that disables dimming function (poor man's DRL solution), Scan Gauge 2
Hooking into the dome light circuit might be easier? The dome light comes on when the doors are unlocked.
