    OOOHHHHH YES! I have my billie 5100's ready to go on, and am going to throw a 265/75/16 on there around xmas.. but looking to go Mickey ATZ or BFG AT... wanted to do KM2 or MTR/K but with the past few winters we have had, I'm a bit skeptical...

    I've had a little less then a month and I go out 2-3 times a week! got 2k miles on her already too.. (36 miles each way to work adds up)

    The KM2 reportedly does OK in deep snow. However, none of the all-terrain or mud-terrain tires work that well on packed snow and ice, because their compound aren't designed to stay soft below freezing. Get a real winter tire like Bridgestone Blizzak (with the porous compound) if you do a lot of driving on snow and ice.

    Yea I know that NO tire is going to be good on ice... i mean its ice.. but with the long haul to work I want to know I have some bit of confidence. not driving 60mph on the snow either ya know.

    and also thats what pisses me off, was looking to get the beg at but size I'm looking at, according to Tirerack.com, says that size along with 11 other sizes aren't for "severe snow".... so why get anything different then what i have now, and just do mud/rock tires in the summer...
