3" spacer 2" rear block one step at a time
    Hey Everyone,

    I have a 2006 double cad Taco 2WD
This is my very first post!!
Last week I added a 3" spacer lift in the front and a 2" block in the rear. After completing the rear block I'm experiencing vibrating at low speeds 15 - 30mph. First I was told to have my wheels balance (stock wheels and rims BTW) that did nothing. After reading I've come to the conclusion to need to add angle shims to adjust the pinion angle. I went to a local shop to purchase, they had 2 and 4 degree shims, they convinced me to buy the 4 degree. Does that sound like my issue, am I on the right track ?? Any info will help

    None but soon......
I think you are on the right track. Every post after this will say either that or tell you to get rid of the spacers and get a suspension lift. :D

Shims should fix your problem though but I have never experienced it so I don't know what degree you need. Others will chime in though.

I have the DCLB and after a 2" AAL in the rear developed a minor vibe. Ended up installing the carrier bearing drop and that has gotten rid of my vibes. Hope this helps
