Hey guys, im new to the board. I have a 2010 Taco, and i recently installed a Access TonnoSport cover. The problem i have encountered is, the frame rail for the cover sits directly on top of the rail for the tie-down cleats. Now there isn't enough clearance for the cleats to slide back on to the rails. Was curious to know if anyone else has run across this and came up with a functional alternative. Thanks for any feedback.

Welcome buddy - You'll probably want to get this moved to the 2nd gen forum.

I had the same issue with my access low rider cover. I sold my big cleats, and got the mini cleats from the dealer. You can find them on ebay too.

Otherwise, I think you cans till use them on the back rail closest to the cab if you have a use for that.

can't really help, but this is one of the main reasons i bought the access roll-up... full use of the bed rails if needed.

I have an Access Rollup and there's just enough clearance to use the cleats. I was debating between that one and a different Access model (low rider, I think). Bought it from truckalterations.com and the salesman on phone said they always suggest the Rollup for that very reason. Not sure about the Sport, but the Rollup looks like it sits the same way. Slants up to just above the bed sides.

yeah, my TonnoSport is a roll-up also, but there just isnt enough clearance for the cleats, and it looks like that might still be an issue with the mini cleats as suggested earlier in the thread.

Anyways, sorry for posting in the wrong spot, and thanks for the suggestions, i will keep looking.
