5k worth of Lift or Supercharger
A supercharger can be anywhere from $4500-$5000 depending where your at..soooo would you rather get the supercharger or $4500-$5000 worth of lift?
Just trying to get a general idea of what everyone would do if you had the choice between the two. Thanks :D

Supercharger. 6" of lift is too much for my personal preference.

Konaborne 02-10-2012 08:25 PM

6" looks pretty.
superchargers serve a function

whippersnapper02 02-10-2012 08:26 PM

Blower. 6 inch lifts for Tacomas are lame.

...and then put the 6" lift after.

Ud have to do the supercharger to compensate for the 6" lift duh lol. Supercharger is I had to choose one or the other

sportsguy 02-10-2012 08:35 PM

Both will waste more gas - at least the supercharger makes a performance difference for ya. :) 6" lift will just bring you seasickness on windy days... :D

TheGloryFades 02-10-2012 08:40 PM

Supercharger and a 3" lift later

I'd do the lift. It's a truck NOT a race car! Besides these V6 motors have enough power as it is.
I have no complaints!

i would say if it was a 1st gen then lift, but for the 2nd, supercharger. the 2nd gens don't look as good as the first ones lifted that high...

That was my 1st answer. I looked at new Tacomas today even a TX Pro. They looked so small most had floor liners no carpet until the $30k + range. I like the floor liners.
The new 2012 looked lower than the pre 2012. I drive over road crap or just on a trail don't even think about rocks or things. I forgot what it was like stock. That few inches makes a big dif. I like the 2012 I wish Toyota will make the next gen smaller and taller.
With all that said I would do the lift and tires first.
