So I was under my truck checking things out when I saw this4cafcc31-6026-5b85_0c5a437d8b4d4d47da90a5b72e6c46a9e6e3a562.jpg4cafcc31-6036-cb29_5b76687719f1eade86f3b79e357ee77c0ccff553.jpg
You can see it's getting into my gas tank skid. So what's a guy to do? Bend it back or grind it off. I thinking grind it off. And just for reference I have the tsb with a aal. Here is what it looks like on the other side.4cafcc31-60ac-f489_44990835c7278cfcb21f4b757b003b4b92b3ae71.jpg

It should be bent back, it is there to keep the leaves staight and aligned. The real question is why did it happen, but from the pic it looks like there isn't enough clearance between the spring pack and the fuel tank skid, and it caught the edge of it. Is that a factory skid?? Either the skid plate is too close to the spring, or the spring is too close to the skid, more likely the first one.

Your gas tank skid plate isn't supposed to be there. Looks like you broke something.

I think it was like that when I put the skid on. It's an ATO skid. I was contemplating getting a Dakar leaf pack so maybe this is the excuse I needed.

Are you missing a leaf in the first pic? Did one leaf snap and drop out? I only see 4 in that pic but in the other side I see 5.

That looks like a screwed up mess under there. Maybe it's just the picture/angle.
