Hey everyone. I am planning to get a Flowmaster Original 40 muffler in a few weeks. I want to do just a muffler swap. I know I need the 2.5" in and out, but what offsets? I have a 2005 Double Cab Sport with the 6 cylinder engine. Also, what do you think this would run me to have done at a muffler shop? Ball park estimates are welcome. Thanks for any help.

Had exact same muffler bought + installed for $150 and a 3" chrome tip for $30 but he was a flowmaster dealer. after tax was bout $200. Love the sound of mine btw good choice!

^^This. Paid about $208 total for my muffler swap. Flowmaster 40, new pipe from the muff back, and 3" tip all installed. Call around for pricing.

I paid $60 for my install just to cut out stock muffler and weld in a magnaflow and add 2 hangers. I paid like $70-$80 for the muffler I think.

Sweet. Now I need to know which muffler to get with my stock pipes. Obviously a 2.5" in and out, but which offset?

Not sure how Flowmaster does theirs but on my Magnaflow it was just called center in/offset out or vice versa since its reversible.

Flowmasters are NOT reversible. Just pointing that out, may have already known anyhow.
